SENIOR WAREHOUSE PERSON FULL TIME / PERMANENT A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proven and enthusiastic Senior Warehouse person to join our small tight knit team. You will take responsibility and accountability for the operation of our warehouse – a vital part of our business. You will run all aspects of our warehousing activities which is a very much a hands on and autonomous role so a minimum of 3 years experience in warehousing/distribution is essential. Responsibilities will include; · Picking and packing of orders · Inwards/Outwards goods · Processing of warranties · Stock control · Liaising with freight/courier companies, sales team and internal/external customers · Revolving stock takes · Operation of forklift and other machinery · General warehouse duties The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good computer skills and knowledge of inventory systems, have excellent attention to detail, a "can do" attitude and willingness to learn. They must be honest, reliable and conscientious with a bright, cheerful and friendly manner. You will also have a current OSH Forklift Operators licence as well as a full, clean and valid NZ drivers licence. You will be able to work effectively under pressure and be physically fit and able as heavy lifting is involved. This role may evolve and change over time so there is an expectation that the successful candidate will be adaptable and flexible in terms of meeting future needs. You will also participate in reviewing our systems and improving them. Hours of operation are 8.30am-5pm Mon-Fri. Applications close 5.00pm Friday18h June 2010. |
